What is Vlaugust?
Vlaugust, a.k.a. the Vlaugust Challenge,
is a triple portmanteau for "vlog" and "August."
It's a 30-day challenge to create vlogs on the year's topic:
This challenge was started in 2017 when
our co-founder the late great
Gret Glyer asked our community
"What does it mean to live a compelling life?"
We are again returning in 2024 in honor of Gret to ask
that foundational question.
How Does it Work?
After you join the supportive and encouraging
Vlaugust community (private FB group),
you make vlogs that relate to the year's topic.
Post as often as you wish, publicly and/or in the group,
with the tag #Vlaugust.
Why Should I Join Vlaugust?
None of us are experts at vlogging,
but all of us want to grow by doing hard things.
Challenge yourself, tell stories, and change lives.
Also, make friends with fellow Vlaugust members!
