The Story of Healing
Documentary is based on the true story of a man, Allen Smith, who lives in a small town in Central Pennsylvania that after losing several family members, including his son, still manages to bring joy to the community. Throughout the holiday season, he visits with kids, helps others in need and delivers gifts in his son’s truck, which he hopes to one day paint red and turn into a Santa mobile.
Allen said, “My legacy will die when I do now. Unfortunately, my blood line will end with me. However, these photos (and movie) will live forever… Somewhere, some day, someone will look at one of these photos hanging on the wall and say, Daddy how old were you when you met Santa? Then at that point that man or woman will think back to their youth and remember the day they met Santa. Then my legacy will continue, it will last as long as these families hang these photos in their homes. I will always cherish each moment I spend with the children I see when I'm Santa. Someday they can say they spent time with the real Santa Claus!”
